On 17th January, 17 members of the Society attended a matinée performance of Sheridan’s The Rivals directed by Tom Littler and starring Patricia Hodge as Mrs Malaprop and Robert Bathurst as Sir Anthony Absolute. Set in the 1920s, it was a stylish, pacy and extremely elegant production which unravelled the twists and turns of an intricate plot with great clarity and panache. We were delighted to meet Robert Bathurst for a Q and A session after the production.
